The correct tracking force is one of the critical factors of the setup. If you don't follow the cartridge producer's indications you may spoil your sound or damage your records and cartridge.
The right tracking force is normally indicated with a range (ie. 2 - 2,5 gr.) within which you may "play" to reach the correct setting for your system or taste.
Of course you must use a gauge with an adequate precision; traditional gauges have a tipical deviation up to 1/2 gr.; with such a deviation we already lost the setup range indicated by the cartridge producer.
HIFI4MUSIC gauge is extremely precise, aprox. 0,01 grams. It's possible to program a Tare which is automatically considered when measuring the weight. Our gauge is expressly made to measure the phono cartridge tracking force, this is crucial because adaptd products won't be so precise (changing the geometry, changes the measured weight).
Now you can test all the different tracking setup and dramatically improve your turntable performance in the strongest transients.
The gauge is supplied complete with batteries, test weight and simil-leather case.
Shipping avarage time, if nont available on stock, is 25 days aprox.
